A very nice relic, there's remnants of the SS Shielf on the right side of the helmet. Given it is an M35 it has likely been reissued to the SS later in the war before being lost. It retains a large section of its liner and the chinstrap is in great shape for a relic. Theres a chance it could be treated and removed for a much better helmet.
Relics with liners are hard to find so this is a really interesting piece.
This helmet came out of a collection in Carentan, Normandy. We have no specific history with the helmet, but the collector only bought locally so we know it is a Normandy helmet.
