These have to be the best condition examples we have ever had or come across. They came in this last week from the family of the veteran who brought them back at the end of WW2. They are in stunning condition, the rubber is soft and spongy, not dried up. They are optically very good.
The paintwork is exceptional for the age and overall they are just untouched.
The serial number puts it mid to late WW2 with the blue triangle putting it between 1943 and the end of the war. The red X indicates it is greased up for cold weather use.
It is truly an excellent piece and one that would be near impossible to upgrade in any collection.
It will of course be shipped VERY well wrapped, as it weighs around 7kg.
