Social Media Assistant & Team Member

Location: Holbury, Hampshire, SO45 (Office Based)
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours) but part time of at least 20 hours a week would be considered for the right candidate.
Salary: £25,350 FTE
Start Date: September (can be flexible for the right candidate)

We are looking for someone to join The Militaria Shop who has a genuine interest in militaria, military history, and collectables and wants to turn that interest into a career.

We are a family-run business of collectors ourselves, and our reputation has been built on showing, discussing, and selling original items online. We want someone who understands that world and can help us continue to grow it in the right way.

The right candidate will be:

Enthusiastic about militaria and collectables (ideally with some knowledge of militaria - WWII-period preferred)
Creative and interested in social media
Comfortable using computers and learning new software
Confident writing in English
Willing to get involved in a variety of tasks
Able to work a minimum of 20 hours across Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (full time would be preferred)

Experience with social media, digital marketing, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software would be useful, but we are far more interested in the right attitude, genuine interest, and a willingness to learn. There may be an opportunity to complete a recognised Digital Marketing apprenticeship alongside the role, allowing you to gain industry experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
