A WW2 German army DAF workers relic pottery/porcelain section.

The DAF or German Labour Force, were created to replace the trade unions in Germany during Nazi power as they had banned all trade unions.

Over the years we have picked up a lot of broken and damaged pottery around Normandy, often picked up out of peoples gardens and sold direct to us. We would always put the items into a box at shows to sell piece by piece but have now decided to list 100 of these pieces onto the website! ALL of them need a good wash. Not only had they just come out of the ground they have then spent the Covid period sat getting caked in dust. We have left them as is as we like the way they look, but this is porcelain, it will clean up very quickly and easily. (Possibly not in the dishwasher!)

As they are nicely marked but cheap items, they are ideal gifts for young collectors. Or just a nice item to sit in the display cabinet.
