A very clean condition British WW2 Home Front Civilian Gas Mask.
This has been privately purchased and comes in a good quality carrying tin.
The mask is dated 1939 and there is a manufacturer's instruction label inside the lid.
Also interesting is the wartime owners name and address - Kensington Gardens, Belfast which offers some research potential. Also it can be displayed with the lid open with the details and mask visible.
This is a nice example with some crazing and wear to the rubber as is often the case after 80+ years.
