This is a lovely original shell that has had many lives! Theres so many layers of paint but you can make out the swastika on one side so has been a reissue.
Lots of options for this helmet. Make it a project to rebuild to its former glory?
Maybe try to slowly strip the paint off. We have done nothing with the shell at all.
Its been drilled a to add a liner which is no easy task as well as having a liner band added.
Interesting though! As the old saying goes, "if only it could talk!"
