A fantastic textbook grey coloured KM Helmet with a large amount of the decal still there and almost all of the paint. What is especially nice is the remaining stamp on the inside, this is something you tend to see on earlier helmets but unusual on M42s!
This came to us through a house clearance in Cherbourg, Normandy.
It would most likely have been a coastal defence helmet during D-Day.
