This is a text-book sleepy helmet that could do with a light wash but not a lot more.
It is a single decal army M35 combat helmet with 3 original pins. It is a size 60 helmet with a batch code of 3444. Everything about this helmet is just text-book. It really could do with a liner! Luckily they are still available on the market. One pin is original but not to this helmet (Different paint) but the other 2 are original to the helmet and match it. This is quite common with German helmets.
The decal, again is just perfect really. It retains most of the decal with a few nicks but it is just great condition for 80 years old
There is also a research opportunity to look into the name on the inside rim as it is quite distinctive.
All around just a smashing piece of WW2 history.
