A really cool and interesting piece. The reason this one interests me more than any other, the badge isn't glued on!
It is impressed into the brass! I suspect it could be a badge factory made example where the badge has been pressed into brass, but then a large circle cut around to make the ash tray.
Not sure, but it is a really cool piece that needs a clean.
