We are selling off a large private collection of one-off badges, buttons and similar items stretching over a 75 year period and then the collection remained untouched after that for more than 50 years. We have now decided to sell them all.
All of the badges we are listing were put together over almost a full two lifetimes of collecting. The collection comprises Victorian, WW1 badges and WW2 badges and both family members collected them for much of their respective lifetimes. They were all stored in cardboard boxes wrapped in wool.
They collected 1 cap badge, 2 collars, 1 cap button, 1 pocket button and 1 tunic button for each regiment for the British Army. We are selling them all - check out our other auctions, they will all be sold in the next few weeks.
We will GUARANTEE that they are original and additionally in the last few days we have had EVERYTHING checked by the UK’s leading badge auctioneers. There are NO copies, fakes and everything will be properly described so you can buy with confidence.
