A niece recently got married to a Spaniard in Talavera, a battle honour of the 48th Foot. The cap badge of the Northamptonshire Regiment also shows the 58th Foot's battle honour Gibraltar, I thought this would make a nice present for my niece's husband, encapsulating as it does Britain's relationship with Spain!

Absolutly nice item. It needed a little bit cleaning but that is normal for an old brass item. Now it's shining on my Pith Helmet and looks great.
