This is an original M16 SS re-issue WW2 helmet with the correct WW1 field grey interior.
It has the internal M16 leather liner band with original pins and it looks to have never had the liner removed. It also has the remains of one of the support pads.
It is size marked K64.
This is 100% original. A small number of these helmets were repainted in the 1930's in black for the SS to use and the early examples did not have decals. This appears to have never had any applied. The paint both inside and out is correct. This is in absolutely untouched condition.
